Bryan and Larry

Well this face looks familiar huh? After doing a session of Bryan and her daughter and grandson, she asked me to do a session of her and her husband Larry.

We came back to the Athens Botanical Gardens for this session. This is a very special place for these two because 20 years ago this July, they tied the knot here. I was here with them 20 years ago.
It was a beautiful ceremony with Larry presenting Bryans two daughters with a ring also. It was very sweet.

This place has beautiful grounds and was a beautiful day to take photos. I was honored that they wanted me to capture their 20 years of marriage here again. I wish them another 20 wonderful years!

Enjoy.

Chandlee and Keyton

I decided to take a trip to Georgia recently to visit my sister. She is making the move to Massachusetts and that is a longer road trip than going to GA. While I was there I had a session with my friend Chandlee and her son and her mom.

Chandlee is a long time friend of mine. We grew up together, our moms were great friends, we went to the same school and lived right next door from each other for a while. I love her.

This was Chandlee and Keytons third session. She also decided to ask her mom to join them. (how sweet) As always we have a great time taking photos. Keyton is a ball of energy. It is a good thing because I get to capture him at his realest. I had to keep up with him at time during this session. He was also willing to do almost anything I asked. hehe. I think he may be used to me taking his photos.

It was nice to catch up with them while I was in GA. If you are ever in Athens, Ga and need any new jewelry or anything fixed, stop by Chandlee Jewelers on Epps Bridge Parkway next to Davids Bridal.

Enjoy!

Coronado and Cadena Family Session

Yvonne asked me to do another family photo session and of course I accepted. They are a fun family and I like catching up between our busy schedules.

Sadly they will be leaving soon for Spain. I am jealous that they are going to Spain. I hope when we PCS next year that we will be able to go over seas as well. Maybe we will meet up with them in Spain. :)
Yvonne, I want to see lots of photos of that beautiful country.

Enjoy!

Jaime's Commissioning Ceremony

I had the great honor of photographing a Commissioning Ceremony for my friends husband. I will tell you know, I have been married to a Navy guy for 11 years, and I love all things military. I get a sense of pride when I see these ceremonies or service men and women getting off a plane in uniform, or just knowing that we have such a great military.

When doing photos like this it is a wee bit intimidating. Even though I have been in the life for 11 years, when I am around a lot of men and women of our military and I feel small next to them. They give their lives to protect this country, to make us feel safe. I love it!

If you dont know, a commissioning ceremony is, it is basically a promotion. To commemorate a milestone. Going from enlisted to Officer. Its a great step in Jamie's career.

Congratulations to you again Jamie. I wish you and your family all the best at your next duty station in Spain. (yeah im jealous)
