Say hello to the lovely Ashley. She is a senior, class of 2015!! Whoop Whoop!!
I accompanied Grasshopper Photography on this session. Ashley wanted her photos to be taken
downtown Memphis and on the waterfront of the Mississippi River. She was great. She rocked this session. Enjoy!

Johnson Family
Meet the Johnsons. This wonderful family was gifted a session. I was running a contest and they did not win, but I felt like I just had to shoot them. They have 4 beautiful children who all enjoyed taking photos. Well maybe everyone. ;) The little one was too excited to be outside and was all over the place.
Brandy and Eli just got married a few weeks ago. Congrats to the family!

More sunflowers
This field will be plowed VERY soon so I decided to do some mini sessions out there before it was gone. It is such a pretty field and huge.
Everyday there are a lot of people there taking photos of their family or someone else. There were other professional photographers and also people using their cell phones. Everyone admiring the flowers. This is the only real pretty thing around my town so everyone stops by to take some pics.
The first photos are of my sons classmate Hailey. She is adorable. She was working the camera like Madonna vogue-ing! She loved it.
The second set of photos are of Annaleese and her daughter Olivia. This was their first time at the field. I had to show her a photo I took while we were still out there and they both loved it. I did as well, and you will get to see why. :)
Enjoy!

My babies
A week or so ago I went scout hunting with another photog friend. She showed me some really great spots. I decided to take my babies out and practice on them. :) They love getting their photo taken.
Karla showed me a really nice lake area. She took a photo of her kids there and I thought it was beautiful!! I had her show me where it was because I just had to have one of my kids too.
My kids are such hams. They actually ask me to take a picture of them like "this" or "that". haha. I love it! I will always have willing subjects to practice on.

Sunflower Fields Forever
Hello folks. Recently I have been frequenting a sunflower field close by to get some shots of the beautiful sunflowers. They are so pretty! The field is huge. Sadly it will be plowed soon. If you have a sunflower field close by you that you have used I would love to see it if you have taken photos there. You can post your photos on my facebook fan page at www.facebook.com/rachaelmcanuffphotography.com.
A photographer friend went to the fields before me and thankfully the owner came by and said it was ok for us to use as long as we didnt pick the flowers or mess up the field. No problem!!
Come October there will be cotton fields around here that I can not wait to use.
Enjoy the photos. :)

Mommy and Me minis
Recently I did a few mommy and me sessions. I love them. The relationship that kids have with their moms is beautiful. I grabbed a few props to make it simple and relaxing. It was a gorgeous day. I actually had 30 minutes in between a session and I decided to just lay there under the tree and relax. It was awesome! I have made a plan to take the family back to that spot and just relax and maybe have a picnic.
Here you will see three different sessions. Some of the kids didnt want to get their photo taken, but thats understandable. They just wanted to play in the grass, and so did I. hehe. I ended up getting some great shots of these kiddo and their mommies.
Enjoy!

Bryan and Larry
Well this face looks familiar huh? After doing a session of Bryan and her daughter and grandson, she asked me to do a session of her and her husband Larry.
We came back to the Athens Botanical Gardens for this session. This is a very special place for these two because 20 years ago this July, they tied the knot here. I was here with them 20 years ago.
It was a beautiful ceremony with Larry presenting Bryans two daughters with a ring also. It was very sweet.
This place has beautiful grounds and was a beautiful day to take photos. I was honored that they wanted me to capture their 20 years of marriage here again. I wish them another 20 wonderful years!
Enjoy.
